Ann has worked for over thirty years in general mental health and, specifically, with people affected by eating disorders in inpatient, day hospital, out-patient and community settings. She was the founding Program Director of Sheena’s Place, a non-medical support program for people affected by eating disorders. More recently, Ann was the Clinical Director of WaterStone Clinic, a highly specialized day-treatment program. Ann currently practices at The Clinic on Dupont, Toronto. Ann is particularly interested in working people who do not respond to traditional hospital-based settings and with families who are struggling to get help for their family members. She is currently in private practice in downtown Toronto. Ann has written and presented academically and has been an expert speaker for the media on new trends in the area of eating disorders.
